Wenjun Zhao joins the Division of Applied Mathematics as an LFZ Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics

Wenjun Zhao will be an LFZ Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics starting September 1st. She received a B.Sc. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2016, and a Ph.D. from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University in 2021. The goal of her dissertation research is to develop a unified theoretical
and computational framework to incorporate optimal transport as a versatile component of the data analysis toolbox. Her current research interests include optimal transport and its applications in data science and machine learning.
