Applied Mathematics

Hao is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Research Fellow at University of Southern Denmark hosted by Dr. Joe Alexandersen. His research focuses on the design engineering based on mathematics, computational mechanics, and informatics. He is particularly interested in topology optimisation of fluidic devices and metamaterials, as well as their applications in mechanical produces. At present, he focuses on the development of an advanced design methodology for multi-scale and Multiphysics systems and he aims to go beyond the-state-of-the art to the next generation of microfluidic devices.
