Biography

Oanh Nguyen is an assistant professor in the Division of Applied Mathematics at Brown University. She graduated from Yale University in 2017. Before moving to Brown, Oanh held positions at Princeton University and the University of Illinois. She works on probability theory, stochastic processes and their applications. Her research publications have made significant contributions to the studies of universality properties for random functions and the spread of epidemics on random networks. She received an NSF grant, AIM SQuaREs, and a Salomon research award from Brown University.
