Professor George Karniadakis Elected to the American Academy of Arts & Sciences

We are proud to announce that Professor George Karniadakis has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the nation’s most prestigious honorary societies. Founded in 1780, the Academy recognizes exceptional achievement and leadership across disciplines and brings together scholars, artists, and leaders to address critical challenges facing society.

With this honor, Professor Karniadakis joins a distinguished group of members that includes historical figures such as George Washington and Alexander Hamilton, as well as modern icons like Martin Luther King Jr., Margaret Mead, and Nelson Mandela. The Academy's current membership includes over 250 Nobel and Pulitzer Prize laureates.
