Jie Zang

Postdoctoral Research Associate

Biography

Jie Zang earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics in June 2025 from South China University of Technology, where his dissertation focused on the relationship between network structure and dynamics in neural networks across multiple scales. In July 2025, he joined the Department of Applied Mathematics at Brown University as a postdoctoral research associate, working with Professor Carina Curto. Jie’s current research continues to explore how structural features—particularly in competitive threshold-linear networks (CTLNs) and their generalizations—shape network dynamics.
