Applied Mathematics

Hi! My name is Ritvik, and I am from Boca Raton, Florida. I joined Brown in 2026, and obtained my bachelor’s degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology. My research interests lie at the intersection of applied probability theory and PDEs, with a particular focus on interacting particle systems. My previous research experiences include algorithmic design and convergence theory of these systems for optimization and sampling. In addition to research, I am extremely interested in scientific outreach and mentoring. Outside the academic world, I enjoy playing Sudoku, going on long bike rides, and re-watching Better Call Saul.
