Applied Mathematics

Biswajit is a postdoctoral research associate in the Division of Applied Mathematics at Brown University. His research interest lies in computational methods for PDEs and scientific machine learning, and he is currently working on solving optimization problems with inequality constraints. Biswajit received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology in 2011, and MS in Applied Mechanics from IIT Delhi in 2013. After spending four years in the industry, he joined Iowa State University and received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2023.
